After falling in an early 2-0 hole, the Broncos managed to claw their way back into the game before pushing across a late run to prevail 3-2 over the Midway Panthers. With the win Lake improves to 2-0 on the young season. A big RBI single by Cameron Bartz tied the game in the 5th before a 6th inning Andrew Ramos sacrifice fly gave the Broncos their first lead of the contest. Four Bronco pitchers managed to pitch around traffic on the bases all game, making big pitches to get out of jams. The Broncos will return to action next week at the Round Rock ISD Legends Tournament.
