WBGT 82.0-86.9 | 2 hour practice | Use discretion for intense or prolonged exercise: watch at-risk players carefully; Provide at least a 5 minute water break every 30 minutes. Move to the grass field if possible. (Limit total amount of time? 2 hours?) |
87.0-89.9 | 2 hour practice 1 hour practice | Football, remove helmets when possible. (2 minute break every 15 minutes) XC runners must be in eye sight of the coach at all times. Middle school - 2 minute break every 10 minutes Remove helmets when possible, wear shorts when Possible |
90.0-92.0 | 1 hour practice with a 1 minute water break every 10 minutes and a 5 minute water break in the middle of practice. 30 Minutes - 1 minute water break every 10 minutes | Football, remove helmets when possible, Equipment limited to helmets and shorts. XC runners must be in eye sight of the coach at all times. Middle school - 30 minutes followed by 15 minutes inside (Outside 15 minutes w/ helmet & 15 minutes w/o helmet) |
