Game 1: Midway 5, Lake Belton 1
The Broncos opened the tournament against a tough Midway squad, falling 5-1. Despite solid defensive efforts, Lake Belton’s offense struggled to break through against strong pitching from Midway.
Game 2: Lake Belton 4, Georgetown 2
Lake Belton bounced back in Game 2 with a key 4-2 victory over tournament host Georgetown. Strong pitching and timely hitting helped the Broncos secure their first win of the weekend.
Game 3: Weiss 5, Lake Belton 2
A hard-fought contest against Weiss saw the Broncos come up short, 5-2. Weiss capitalized on a few key scoring opportunities, while Lake Belton’s offense couldn’t quite generate the runs needed for a comeback.
