The Lake Belton JV Red baseball team put together an impressive showing at the Killeen Tournament, finishing with a strong 3-1 record over the weekend. The Broncos showcased dominant pitching, explosive offense, and solid defense throughout their four-game stretch.

The tournament started with a tough matchup against Belton JV Red, where Lake Belton fought hard but ultimately fell 7-3. Despite the setback, the team quickly bounced back and took control in the following games.

In their second contest, the Broncos overwhelmed Harker Heights with a commanding 12-1 victory, setting the tone for the rest of the tournament. Their offense continued to shine in the next game against Troy, where they secured a decisive 10-3 win.

Lake Belton capped off the tournament in dominant fashion, shutting out Chaparral 15-0 in their final game. The team’s pitching was locked in, and the bats stayed hot, securing their third victory of the tournament.

With a 3-1 finish, the Broncos demonstrated their strength and resilience, proving to be a formidable squad this season.
