JV Silver put on an exciting performance Friday night, playing to a hard-fought 3-3 draw against Waco University JV in a back-and-forth contest filled with energy and determination.
The scoring opened with Jacob Johnson finding the back of the net off a well-placed assist from Jack McCullagh, giving JV Silver the early advantage. However, University responded just before halftime, leveling the score at 1-1 as the teams headed to the break.
The second half saw plenty of action, with JV Silver regaining the lead after Emmanuel Herrera delivered a perfectly placed cross to Joshua Clark, who finished it off to put the team up 2-1. But once again, University answered, tying the game at 2-2.
JV Silver refused to back down, and Emmanuel Herrera set up another goal, this time assisting Jordan Tuggle to push the lead to 3-2. The team fought hard to close out the match, but University found an equalizer late, forcing the 3-3 final.
It was a strong showing from JV Silver, with great teamwork and key contributions across the field. They’ll look to build on this performance and carry the momentum into their next matchup.
