The Lake Belton Broncos dropped their final game prior to district starting to the College Station Cougars by a score of 3-1. The Broncos surrendered only 2 hits, but allowed 3 runs in the 4th. The Broncos only collected 3 hits of their own. With the loss the Broncos fall to 10-4-2 on the season. Lake Belton is back in action with District 16-5A play beginning on Tuesday. Lake will host Belton to open district play on Tuesday at Bronco Ballpark. First pitch is slated for 7 p.m.
