Lake Belton JV Broncos Defeats Elgin Wildcats JV in game one of BISD tournament on Saturday, 11-8.
Ryleigh Domek earned the win for the Lady Broncos. The hurler gave up one hit and zero runs over two innings, striking out five and walking one.
Lake Belton collected 12 hits in the game. Harloe Blair, Madilynn McDaniel, and Kenna Morrison each collected two hits. Maliyah Gooden drove in four runs and had one hit. The Lady Broncos stole seven bases in the game.

Lake Belton Junior Varsity Broncos won big over Temple 15-1 on Saturday.
Ryleigh Domek stepped in the circle first for Lake Belton JV Broncos. The right-handed pitcher allowed one hit and one run (zero earned) over three innings, striking out five and walking one.
Khloe Smith provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led the offensive attack with three runs batted in, going 2-for-2 on the day. Aralina Acosta also collected two hits on the day. Isabell Magana paced the Lady Broncos with two walks.
Overall, the Lady Broncos had a great weekend despite the cold and rainy weather conditions. The Lady Broncos continue their hot streak as they win their first two non-district games of the season.
The Lady Broncos will resume district play tomorrow night, as they match up against against district rival Belton Tigers. The game will be played at home on Bronco diamond @ 5pm.
