Nick played on the golf team three years. He was a starter on varsity his junior and senior years. He was a key member of the district championship team his junior year and qualified for the regional tournament at Margaritaville in Conroe. At that tournament Nick’s scores helped his team to a third place finish and a trip to the state tournament in Georgetown. His senior year Nick’s team finished runner-up at district, with Nick finishing in fourth place as an individual . The team once again travelled to the regional tournament, this time at Tanglewood Country Club in Pottsboro. The team finished in tenth place against a stacked field with Nick’s scores helping the team total both days. Nick will be playing at the next level at Central Methodist University in Fayette, Missouri.
