The Lake Belton Cross Country teams competed in the Temple Invitational yesterday. The varsity boys' team was led by junior Wyatt Potts who placed 20th out of 119 runners. He was followed by Josiah Briggs (30th) and Shua Clark (32nd). The varsity girls' team was led by freshman Keira Denzowski who placed 3rd out of 104 runners. She was followed by Lucy Loa (14th) and Sarah Gray (18th).
For the JV boys, medalists were Tyler Adkins Beltran (5th) and Brodie Mansfield (19th). Emyle Love led the JV girls with a 7th place finish, followed closely by Gemma Pierce (9th), Demi Fisher (10th), Sophia Garza (12th), and London Lynn (13th). The Broncos will travel to Vista Ridge next Friday to compete in the Vista Ridge Invitational. Great job, Broncos!
