Varsity Volleyball battled strong in the 32-team Pflugerville Volleypfest tournament, which hosts teams from across the state. The Broncos kicked off the weekend strong on Thursday, sweeping victories over Brentwood Christian, Katy Jordan, and Pflugerville Connally. In Friday's pool play, the Broncos continued the hot streak with victories over Hutto and Eastwood, before falling to a tough Buda Johnson. The Broncos advanced to Gold Bracket play as one of the top eight teams in the tournament. After a loss to the tournament champion, Weiss, the Broncos couldn't get their groove back against Smithson Valley. We are proud of the strong fight and challenges our Broncos faced in our second tournament weekend.

Congratulations to Senior Outside Hitter and Northern Colorado commit, Kaitlyn Hutchins, for earning All-Tournament team! Kaitlyn finished the weekend with 70 kills on 0.264 hitting %, 41 digs, and 9 blocks. Great job Kaitlyn!!

A few other standouts on the court include Madi Bingham who carried an astounding 123 assists, 60 digs, and 11 blocks on the weekend. Ava Wood had a massive performance at the net with 24 blocks and 23 kills. Madilyn Jackman nailed 26 kills on the offensive side while Morgan Kukulski and Makinzi Johnson held 25 blocks combined. Keileigh Krueger kept the backline alive with 45 digs alongside Kruz Smith who picked up 27. Smith also served up 7 aces followed by Haylee Kasner's 6 and Bingham and Wood's 5.
