The Lake Belton JV Silver football team lost their opening season game to A&M Consolidated with a final score of 14-13. The Broncos started strong, with Adrian Pippins and Trysten Reese both scoring touchdown runs in the first half, putting the team up 13-0. The Lake Belton defense also performed well in the first half, holding the Tigers scoreless. Joshua McClaren contributed with a fumble recovery. However, in the second half, A&M Consolidated scored two touchdowns to secure the 14-13 victory. The JV Silver team will play their next game at home against Round Rock McNeil on Wednesday, September 3, at 7:00 PM.
