PRO-FIT CROSS COUNTRY RESULTS

The Lake Belton Cross Country Teams competed in the Pro-Fit Invitational at James Wilson Park in Temple today. Sophomore Lucy Loa led the varsity girls with a 14th place finish. Sarah Gray placed 19th followed by Jenna Benedick, Mady Rivas, and Alayna Fulton. The Lady Broncos finished 5th out of 14 teams in the 5A-6A division. The varsity boys were led by junior Wyatt Potts who placed 36th out of 129 runners in the boys' varsity 5A-6A race. Jack McCullagh, Josiah Briggs, Cooper Schels, and Tyler Adkins Betran rounded out the top 5 for the boys. The varsity boys placed 11th out of 16 teams. On the JV side, sophomore London Lynn led the Lady Broncos with a 6th place finish. Also medaling were Alyse Newby (7th), Gemma Pierce (9th), Sophia Garza (10th), and Camryn Mikulas (12th). The JV girls won the team championship out of a total of 12 teams. The JV boys were led by sophomore Kyan Whitmire with a 12 place finish. Robert Klotz, Jedidiah Kiblinger, Robert Thomas, and Adrian Rentas Quiles contributed to the JV point total for the JV boys team. The boys finished 6th out of 13 teams in the team division. The XC teams will travel to Waco HOT for their district preview meet next Thursday. Way to go, Broncos!
