The freshman volleyball team made a strong impression on Thursday as they competed in the JV bracket, opening the day with an impressive win before facing tough losses in their final two matches. Their 1-2 finish places them in the Silver Bracket for Saturday’s tournament play, where they’ll look to bounce back and make a deep run.
Despite facing older and more experienced opponents, the team came out energized and focused in their first match, earning a well-deserved victory behind sharp serving, quick transitions, and aggressive net play.
The momentum carried into their second match, but unforced errors and a more physical opponent tested the team’s consistency. In the final match of the day, the girls continued to battle, showing grit and hustle, but ultimately came up short. Still, every match provided valuable experience, and the team continues to grow with each set.
Now seeded into Saturday’s Silver Bracket, the team is ready to regroup and come back with the same fire they showed in their opening win. With confidence, chemistry, and a full day of JV experience under their belts, this young team is ready to fight for more.
