What a day for our Freshman Red volleyball team! They showed heart, hustle, and serious teamwork as they battled their way to a second-place finish in the BISD SubVarsity Showdown Tournament.

The team came out strong against Cove B dominating the court with crisp serves and solid defense to win in straight sets 25–18 & 25–13. A statement victory to kick off the day!

After dropping the first set 20–25 against Cove A, the team rallied with incredible energy and focus. They fought back to take the next two sets 25–21 and 15–5, completing a thrilling comeback and punching their ticket to the championship match!

In a high-intensity final match up against Salado, the team battled hard but ultimately fell just short. They dropped the first set 20–25, and the second was an absolute nail-biter, ending 26-24. It was a tough loss, but a performance full of grit and pride.

The Freshman Red team continues to improve and make a statement with every set played.
