The Lake Belton Freshman Silver volleyball team delivered an absolutely dominant performance on the court Tuesday night, steamrolling Smithville High in two decisive sets, 25-5 and 25-5.
The night was defined by aggressive serving, precision sets, and a powerful offensive attack. Leading the charge from the service line were Taylan Cole and Kylie Morgenroth, each delivering five aces that kept Smithville on their heels and struggling to get into system.
Kylie Morgenroth didn’t stop at the service line. The freshman standout continued to impress with another stellar night of setting, consistently putting her hitters in prime position to attack and keeping the offense running smoothly throughout both sets.
The beneficiaries of those pinpoint sets? Jordynn Morris and Kaleileana Cress, who were relentless at the net. Both hitters came through with a series of crushing attacks that silenced the Smithville defense and energized the Lake Belton sideline.
Next up, Lake Belton will look to carry this energy into their upcoming matchup against West High School this Friday night. The Lady Broncos will be on the road and traveling to West.
