The Lake Belton Cross Country Teams competed in their own Bronco Invitational today. The varsity girls were led by freshman Keira Dzenowski who placed 3rd overall. Jenna Benedick, Lucy Loa, Sarah Gray, and Mady Rivas rounded out the top 5 for the Broncos, with all girls improving their times from last year's race by over a minute. The varsity girls placed 3rd overall out of 14 teams. The varsity boys were led by junior Wyatt Potts with a 16 place finish overall. Jack McCullagh, Drew Houston, Cooper Schels, and Tyler Adkins Beltran completed the top 5 for the Broncos. The varsity boys placed 8th out of 13 teams. The JV girls were led by Catalina Esquivel and Avery Reinhardt. The JV girls team placed 3rd out of 14 teams. The JV boys were led by Kyan Whitmire, Leo Piedra, and Adrian Rentas Quiles. They placed 5th out of 14 teams. The Broncos will travel to East View on Sat, Sept. 27th for their next meet. Full results from today's meet are below.
