Friday night the Bronco tennis team played Harker Heights at LBHS. The Broncos were without three of their players but still took the match 12-7. Micah Briggs, Adriana Goenaga, and Hayden Maroney moved up to play and had great results.
In doubles, Sara Stephens/Hannah Maroney, Lydia Pulavarti/Sonia Padmanabhan, Addie Kruppa/Adriana Goenaga, and Eli Stewart/Hayden Maroney won their matches.
In boys singles, without number one boy, everyone moved up to play. These players won their matches: Andrew Williams, Ben Johnson, Eli Stewart, Micah Briggs, and Ethan Cohen.
In girls singles, these girls won their matches: Sara Stephens, Hannah Maroney, Sonia Padmanabhan, Addie Kruppa, Adriana Goenaga, and Hayden Maroney.
The Broncos next match is against their District opponent, Waco High School, at the LBHS courts. RISEUP!
