The LBHS broncos JV golf team kicked off the 2025/2026 season with a trip to Mill Creek Country Club in Salado on September 17th. This was the first high school golf tournament for several of the boys and they acquitted themselves well! The team was led by junior Dylan Stephenson playing in his final tournament at Lake Belton. Dylan shot a 99, breaking 100 in his last time on the links. Following Dylan Senior Caden Ortiz, playing in his first high school tournament shot a 110. Right behind Dylan, Junior Joseph Aragon posted a score of 111. This was Joseph’s first tournament in more than six months! Rounding out the team freshmen Kason Taylor and Gehrig Shipp both turned in cards of 117 strokes, really good showings for their first ever high school tournament. These boys look forward to teeing it up again at Blackhawk golf course on October 7th!
