The Lake Belton Cross Country Teams competed in the East View/Georgetown Invitational yesterday. The teams faced some tough competition from the Austin area schools. The varsity girls were led by Keira Dzenowski, Lucy Loa, and Mady Rivas. The lady Broncos placed 11th overall. The varsity boys were led by Jack McCullagh, Drew Houston, and Josiah Briggs. Many of the varsity runners ran season best times.
On the JV side, the girls were led by Camryn Mikulas, Isabela Romero Meza, and Susan Antunez Martinez. The girls placed 3rd overall. Robert Thomas, Leo Piedra, and Jakob Arevalo led the JV boys. As a team, the JV boys placed 13th overall. Lake Belton will compete in the Pro-Fit Invitational on Thursday, Oct. 2nd. Go Broncos!
