On Saturday, the Lake Belton Broncos competed in their biggest swim meet yet! They competed again 26 teams, and 404 athletes that were in attendance. They were faced with some challenging races against some of the best competition in Texas, and showed they were a force to be reckoned with. The Lake Belton Girls came out on top, finishing first place amongst the other girls teams, and the Lake Belton Boys finished 5th amongst the other boys teams. The Lake Belton Broncos finished 5th overall with boys and girls combined! During the meet, there were standout performances by the Broncos: Hannah Voss in the 100 Breaststroke, breaking the previous school record by 4 seconds, Gwen Clark in the 100 fly finishing in 2nd place, and Elijah Firkins in the 200 IM with an almost 15 second time drop!
