The Lady Broncos delivered a powerful performance on their home court last night, sweeping their district opponent with final scores of 25-9 and 25-12. With the win, the team improves to 5-0 in district play, wrapping up the first round of district competition undefeated.
The serving line set the tone early and often, racking up a total of 15 aces on the night. Natalie Tucker led the charge with a standout performance, tallying 7 aces. Charlotte Williams also made her mark, serving 8 consecutive points to keep the pressure on the opponent.
Kylie Morgenroth orchestrated the offense with precision, moving the ball across the court and setting up an aggressive hitting attack. Outside hitters Jordynn Morris and Aspen Cory, along with right side hitter Azeley Johnson, kept the momentum going with consistent and effective swings.
In the middle, Kayleigh Jackson was unstoppable, owning the net and leading the team in kills. On the defensive end, Taylan Cole and Aubrey Henderson anchored the back row.
The Lady Broncos remain perfect in district play and are gaining momentum as they head into the second round. The Broncos are set to take the court again this Friday night at home against district rival Belton Tigers.
