JV Lady Broncos Dominate Homecoming with Electrifying Sweep Over Waco Lady Lions

The energy was electric, the crowd was roaring, and the JV Lady Broncos delivered a homecoming performance for the ages, crushing the Lady Lions of Waco in straight sets, 25-1 and 25-6. From the first serve to the final slam, the Broncos lit up the court with unstoppable momentum, precision, and heart.

Serving Storms & Set-Sealing Aces, The night kicked off with Olivia Maldonado unleashing a 12-point serving run that left the Lady Lions scrambling. Not to be outdone, Riley Detwiler followed with an 11-point serving streak, capping it off with a thunderous ace to seal set one. The second set saw Morgan Campbell rise up and hammer the ball to the floor for the final point, an exclamation mark on a dominant night.

With Offensive Firepower & Defensive Grit the Broncos were relentless at the net and fearless in the back row. Aleksee Lutz led the kill count with six, while Gracie Lott added four of her own. Detwiler and Kamryn Daniels chipped in two apiece, and monster swings from Campbell and Cress added even more heat. Olivia Maldonado orchestrated the offense with 10 assists, while Daniels added two more.

On defense, Kenna Morrison anchored the back row with six digs, followed closely by Lott with five. Lutz and Detwiler added three and one respectively, keeping the Lady Lions off balance all night.

The Broncos served up a total of 20 aces, nearly half their total points. Maldonado led the charge with eight, Detwiler added six, and Lott and Lutz each contributed two. It was a serving clinic that showcased the Broncos’ precision and power.
