The Lady Broncos delivered a thrilling comeback win at home Tuesday night, storming back after dropping the first set to defeat Chaparral High in three sets: 22-25, 25-5, 25-15. With the win, the Lady Broncos remain perfect in district play, improving to 9-0 and officially clinching the district championship.

It was a slow start for the Broncos, who dropped a tightly contested first set, but they responded with dominance in the next two, overwhelming their opponent with energy, precision, and relentless serving.

Leading the way from the service line was Natalie Tucker, who sparked several key runs and tallied a team-high 6 aces on the night. Tucker also added several well-timed kills to bolster the offense. As a team, the Lady Broncos racked up 13 aces, showcasing their ability to deliver under pressure.

Setter Kylie Morgenroth kept the offense flowing with consistent sets throughout the match. Outside hitter Aspen Cory led the offensive attack with 9 kills, while fellow outside Kalei Cress turned in an impressive performance of her own, keeping the opposing defense on its heels.

Defensively, the Broncos came up big when it mattered most. Right side Azeley Johnson and middle blocker Alexis White combined for several crucial blocks that helped swing momentum in the second and third sets. Charlotte Williams added a thunderous kill during a key rally, igniting the crowd and lifting the team’s energy at a pivotal moment.

In the back row, Taylan Cole continued her steady leadership, anchoring the defense. She was joined by Aubrey Henderson, who made a much-anticipated return to the lineup after being sidelined in recent weeks due to injury. Henderson's presence brought stability and grit to the Lady Broncos’ backcourt.

With one game remaining — a road match this Friday night — the Lady Broncos look to cap off a perfect district season. Regardless of the outcome, their 9-0 record has already secured the district title.
