The Lake Belton Freshman Red Volleyball team ended their season on a high note with an impressive straight-set victory over cross-town rival Belton. The Broncos came out strong and never looked back, taking the match 25–9 and 25–16.

From the very first serve, the Broncos set the tone with energy, communication, and confidence. Brooklyn O’Brien and Caydence Kazenbach ran a smooth offense, delivering precise sets that kept Belton’s defense off balance all night. Defensively, Brynlie Wurts and Elsa Hayes anchored the back row with sharp reads, quick reactions, and relentless hustle that kept rallies alive and momentum on Lake Belton’s side.

At the net, Kaylee Cobb and Aiyanna Rountree were a dominant force, putting up big blocks and finishing points with power and precision. The serving game was also a major strength — Alexis Walker delivered 5 aces, while Presley Pilkington added 4 aces, keeping the Tigers on their heels and preventing them from finding a rhythm.

Offensively, Jordyn Landry and Riley Hardin fueled the attack with multiple kills, bringing intensity and consistency from start to finish. Every player contributed to the team’s success, showcasing how much the Broncos have grown throughout the season.

The win over Belton not only capped off a strong 19-1 season but also highlighted the teamwork, effort, and determination that defined this year’s Freshman Red squad. The Broncos leave the court proud of their progress and excited for what’s ahead in their volleyball journeys.
