The Lake Belton Freshman Silver Lady Broncos capped off an incredible season with a commanding win over the University Trojans, taking the match in straight sets to secure a perfect 10-0 district record. The victory marks the conclusion of an outstanding season that saw the Lady Broncos finish 26-0 in regular season play and 7-3 in tournament competition, with their only losses coming against upper-level junior varsity teams. The Lady Broncos would take home one gold bracket win and one silver bracket win in their three tournaments.

The final match of district play was a showcase of teamwork, precision, and determination. The Lady Broncos combined for an impressive 14 service aces, with Taylan Cole and Azeley Johnson each delivering 5 aces to keep the Trojans on their heels. Kylie Morgenroth orchestrated the offense masterfully, finishing the night with double-digit assists.

At the net, Aspen Cory led the offensive charge as the team’s kill leader, while Natalie Tucker, Azeley Johnson, Kalei Cress, and middle blockers Alexis White, Kayleigh Jackson, and Charlotte Williams all contributed to the balanced attack. Defensively, Taylan Cole and Aubrey Henderson anchored the back row, combining for double-digit digs and setting the tone for the Lady Broncos’ transition offense.

“This is the best all-around team I’ve ever coached,” said Coach Jeremiah Adams after the game. “Every single player contributed to our success this season, and these Lady Broncos have an incredibly bright future ahead of them.”

The Lake Belton Freshman Silver Lady Broncos’ undefeated district run and dominant overall season highlight the depth, discipline, and drive of a team that refused to settle for anything less than excellence.
