Five Lady Bronco Golfers represented the Red Team at the Temple JV Tournament on Monday, October 27 at Sammons and brought home a 2nd place trophy!
The team shot a 403 and was solidly in second by thirteen strokes over Belton. Midway claimed the first place spot.
Lyliana Gonzalez led the way with a good 96. She struck the ball extremely well, but had some bad luck along the way, which affected her score. She had one birdie and one par on the day. She finished in the top 10 individually.
Emily McMillon had the second best score on the day, shooting a new personal best 98 and breaking 100 for the first time! She shattered her previous lowest round shot just last week at Sammons by 25 strokes.
The third best round of the day was also a personal best for Emory Jolivet. She shot 103. Her previous best was 111 at Stonetree earlier in the season. She had one par.
Reese Sexton and Chloe Adkinson both shot 106 on the day. It was a new personal best for Adkinson who was 18 strokes better than her previous best.
The Red Team will have a short break before their last tournament of the fall. They will join the Silver Team in Waco at Cottonwood Creek on November 20. The Silver Team will be in action on November 5 at Star Ranch in Hutto.
