Varsity Volleyball had a thrilling evening at Midway High School last against the Red Oak Hawks. The Broncos played point-for-point with the Hawks in the 1st set. The Broncos were trailing 19-22, before a serving streak by Keileigh Krueger took the Broncos all the way to victory, winning 25-22. The momentum of the 1st set struggled going into the 2nd set. The Broncos trailed 12-22, a daunting deficit. Kruz Smith initiated an incredible comeback from behind the service line, taking the Broncos all the way to 21-23! The energetic set closed out with a BRONCO VICTORY of 26-24! In the 3rd set, the Broncos couldn't be touched. Lake Belton finished the sweep with a 25-13 win.

Kaitlyn Hutchins, had an outstanding, dominant night of 21 kills on 0.368 hitting %, 5 digs, 3 aces, and 2 blocks.

Madi Bingham was an all-around stud with 22 assists, 7 kills, 6 digs, 2 blocks, and 1 ace.

Keileigh Krueger picked up everything on defense, leading the Broncos with 17 digs and adding 5 assists and 1 ace.

Kruz Smith came clutch behind the serving line, with 2 aces and many more serves that pushed the Hawk offense out of system. She also finished the night with a 2.06 passing percentage, creating opportunities to run our offense.

All players contributed in big ways to result in the Bronco Sweep! On to Area!
