The Lake Belton Lady Broncos hosted a full evening of scrimmages at home on Monday, November 4, taking on Liberty Hill and Temple High in preparation for the upcoming season.

The Varsity team finished the day 1-1, narrowly falling to Liberty Hill in a close battle with a final score of 13–15. The Broncos bounced back strong in their second game, defeating Temple High 26–11 with solid defense and balanced scoring.

The Junior Varsity team also went 1-1 on the day. They fell to Liberty Hill but rebounded with an impressive win over Temple High. Coaches noted several promising performances and a lot of energy from the JV squad.

The Freshman team played two competitive games but came up short in both contests. Despite the losses, the young Broncos showed tremendous effort, hustle, and teamwork—valuable experience that will help them grow as the season continues.

Across all three teams, there were many positives to build on and clear areas for improvement. The scrimmages provided great insight into what’s working well and what needs sharpening before official play begins.

The Lady Broncos will open their regular season with a home game on Friday, November 7, against Killeen High. Fans are encouraged to come out and support the team for their season and home opener as they begin what promises to be an exciting season of Lake Belton basketball!
