The LBHS Boys Varsity Red Golf Team competed well at the Bronco Invitational held at Wildflower Country Club on November 3rd. The boys played well at a very challenging course which features long approaches and very fast greens. The team was led by freshman Heston Seideman who tamed the tough greens to shoot a great score of 88. Sophomore Weston Minzak was right on Heston’s heels shooting an outstanding 89. Junior Liam Leon was third on the team, shooting an LBHS personal best of 101. Freshman Acelin Wycoff also shot a personal best turning in a score of 107 strokes. Freshman Jackson Dolotina rounded out the team posting a 109. The team score of 385 brought them home in a tie for fifth place. Also competing for The Broncos at the Wildflower were Junior Levi Tarrance Crotty whose total of 88 was outstanding! Senior Eric Gulley fought through early-round struggles to finish with 112 strokes and junior Tyrsten Reese finished the tournament with a score of 120.
These boys will be teeing it up next at Cottonwood Creek on November the 19th and at Lost Pines Resort on December the 2nd.
