The Lake Belton Lady Broncos basketball program hit the road to face 6A Midway this afternoon. The JV team tipped off at 12:00 pm and were dominant from the tip.
Lake Belton set the tone early, jumping out to a 27–10 halftime lead with sharp execution and relentless pressure. The third quarter was all Broncos, as they held Midway to just three points, stretching the advantage to 30 and putting the game out of reach. When the final horn sounded the Broncos were victorious by a score of 54 to 25.
Ayaana Omisola led all scorers with 17 points, attacking the basket with confidence throughout the night. Jordan Carter added 9 points, while Cheyann Oglesby demonstrated her passing ability and knocking down a timely 3 pointer to help maintain momentum.
