The Lake Belton Freshman Broncos put up a strong fight Tuesday night but came up just short in a 43–41 loss to Temple. The game stayed tight from start to finish, with the Broncos battling back in the final minutes before running out of time.
Lexi Walker led the team with 14 points, showing confidence on both ends of the court. Tiliah Kyando and Kayden Johnson each added 9 points, helping keep the Broncos within striking distance throughout the game. Elsa Hayes contributed 7 points, giving the team key momentum in the second half.
Despite the tough loss, the Broncos showed resilience and teamwork. They’ll look to bounce back in their next matchup.
