Wrestlers, Parents, and Guardians,
Last week was another great week of practice and competition. This week is another full schedule for both Varsity and JV wrestling, along with multiple events happening across the school. As we approach the end of the 2nd nine weeks, please continue to make class work a priority.

B-Town Tournament Recap
Varsity had a strong showing on Saturday, with all athletes getting 3–5 matches. Our girls finished 11th and our boys finished 17th out of 20 teams.
JV wrestlers also had an excellent day, with 16 wrestlers placing in the top 4.

Practice Schedule
Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday
Monday Practice (Adjusted for Football Banquet):
Practice will be 4:35–5:30 pm.
Only the following athletes are required to attend Monday practice:

Those not required to practice Monday — enjoy the afternoon off.
Football athletes will have time to shower and change before the sub-varsity banquet begins at 6 pm.
Band Members:
Please communicate with Coach Grimm your required arrival time for Thursday’s concert so arrangements can be made for you to be dismissed from practice in time to prepare.

Midway Dual – Wednesday
We will travel to Waco Midway on Wednesday afternoon for a dual.
Tentative Weigh-In: 5:00 pm
Wrestling Begins: 6:00 pm
Any adjustments will be communicated as soon as they are confirmed on Monday.

BISD JV Tournament – Friday
JV boys and girls will travel to Belton High School.
Report Time: 6:00 am to pack
Wrestling Begins: 8:00 am

Burleson Santa Slam – Varsity (Friday–Saturday)
Varsity Girls and Boys will travel to Burleson and stay overnight Friday.
Departure: Based on JV tournament finish time, but no later than 5:00 pm
Meals: Provided Friday night and all day Saturday
Saturday Weigh-Ins: 7:30 am
Wrestling Begins: 9:00 am
This will be a dual-style tournament featuring multiple district and regional teams from the Dallas area.
