The Lake Belton Freshman Broncos earned a solid victory Tuesday night, defeating Cove 33–22 with a balanced team effort on both ends of the floor.
Kayden Johnson led the scoring attack with 9 points, consistently creating opportunities and setting the pace for the offense. Elsa Hayes and Presley Pilkington each added 6 points, contributing key baskets that helped the Broncos maintain control throughout the game. Neveah Smith chipped in 5 points, providing an important spark on both offense and defense.
The Broncos’ strong defensive pressure limited Cove’s scoring chances, allowing Lake Belton to pull away and secure the win.
With the 33–22 victory, the freshman squad continues to show growth and toughness as they move deeper into the season.
