The Lake Belton boys and girls wrestling teams competed at the Burleson Santa Slam on Saturday, December 13, gaining valuable experience against multiple district and regional opponents.

The girls team finished with a 1-2-1 record, highlighted by a victory over Dallas Wilmer Hutchins. Individually, Anna Huffman had a multi-win day at 170 lbs, and Kamryn Vaden and Lorelai Scallorn also recorded individual victories.

The boys team finished 2-2, including team victories over Lancaster and Dallas Wilmer Hutchins. Joey Casmus earned multiple wins at 190 lbs, with additional individual victories from Carl Huffman, Jesse Whitmire, and Kameron Adams.

Next, the Broncos will compete in a dual against district opponent Lampasas High School on Wednesday, December 17, at 6:30 PM at Lampasas, followed by the Hill Country Tournament at Vista Ridge High School on Saturday, December 20.
