The Lake Belton Lady Broncos delivered an impressive performance on Senior Night, defeating Taylor High School 49–17 on Tuesday, December 16.
Lake Belton set the tone early, jumping out to a 15–5 lead in the first quarter behind strong defensive pressure and efficient offense. The Lady Broncos continued to build momentum in the second quarter, holding Taylor scoreless while outscoring them 12–0, heading into halftime with a 27–5 advantage.
Coming out of the break, Lake Belton stayed aggressive and focused, winning the third quarter 14–5 and maintaining full control of the game. The Lady Broncos closed out the night strong to secure the 49–17 final score.
Offensively, Lake Belton was led by Aniya Taylor and Alexa King, who each finished with 13 points. Olivia Dann and Ariella Polley added 6 points apiece, contributing to a balanced team effort.
The night was made even more special as Lake Belton honored its three seniors: Ariella Polley, Amara Sanchez, and Aquira Robinson. The Lady Broncos celebrated their leadership, dedication, and impact on the program in front of a home crowd, making the Senior Night victory one to remember.
Lake Belton will be back in action on Friday, December 19, at home against Madisonville. Tip-off is set for 4:30 PM. Fans are encouraged to come out and support the Lady Broncos as they continue their season at home.
