The Lake Belton Bronco Varsity soccer team put on an impressive offensive display Tuesday night, earning a commanding 5–2 victory over Giddings High School in a match that showcased depth, composure, and attacking creativity.

Lake Belton set the tone early, controlling possession and pushing the pace from the opening minutes. That pressure quickly paid dividends when Carson Judd opened the scoring, finishing a quality chance created by a perfectly timed assist from Aiden Lassich. Lassich continued to be a key playmaker, threading another precise ball to Roman Manriquez, who calmly converted to give the Broncos a strong early advantage.

Giddings fought back with energy, but Lake Belton remained composed and dangerous going forward. Manriquez struck again later in the match, this time capitalizing on an assist from Zane Fitzwater, extending the Broncos’ lead and keeping momentum firmly on their side.

The second half saw the Broncos maintain their attacking edge while showing discipline defensively. Kai Zuniga added to the tally from the penalty spot, confidently converting to put Lake Belton further ahead. Moments later, Roman Manriquez completed a standout night by burying a penalty kick of his own, sealing his hat-trick performance.
