Tuesday January 6th the Lake Belton Broncos travelled to share the field with the Bryan Vikings. Lake got on the scoreboard early with a goal from Roman Manriquez, assisted by Alex Zamora. Going into halftime the score was 1-1 when the Vikings came out on fire in the second half scoring three unanswered goals. Roman found the net again, followed by Caden Ortiz getting the score to 4-3 with ten minutes left in the game. The Broncos showed resiliency and grit battling it out against a very strong Bryan team. The Broncos step back onto the field again on Thursday when they face off against Burleson in the Central Texas Showcase.
