The Lake Belton Boys soccer team travelled to Waco Texas this week to participate in the Central Texas Showcase. The Broncos came out with a final record of 2 wins and 1 loss. On Thursday the Broncos defeated the Burleson Elks by a score of 3-0. On Friday the Broncos fell just short against the Taylor Ducks 3-2. Finishing the tournament off on a strong note the Broncos emerged victorious against the Polytechnic Parrots 2-1. Goals came from a wide range of players to include, Jacob Boone, Aiden Lassich, Roman Manriquez, Shua Clark, and Alex Zamora. Lake Belton will take the field again in the Mustang Cup in Grapevine Texas on Thursday January 15th.
