The Lake Belton High School girls powerlifting team delivered an outstanding performance, finishing 1st overall at their home meet, the Belton ISD Invitational. Competing against strong programs from across the area, the Lady Broncos showcased depth, strength, and consistency throughout the meet.
Several lifters earned top honors in their respective weight classes. Catalina Esquivel, Moriah Rydberg, Nani Rubio, Analicia Diaz, and Jaya Lisenbe each captured 1st place finishes, setting the tone for Lake Belton’s team victory. Emyle Love also turned in a strong performance, finishing 2nd in her weight class.
Additional medals were earned by SheKayla Munoz, Macie Solis, Aralina Acosta, Maiya Keen, and Isalei Simpson, further contributing to the team’s overall success. Beyond the podium finishes, several other team members had standout days, setting multiple personal records and highlighting the team’s continued growth and preparation.
With momentum on their side, the Lake Belton girls powerlifting team will return to competition on Wednesday, January 21st, when they travel to Florence for their next meet.
