The Broncos girls jv baksetball team suffered their first loss of the season, falling to the Chaparral Bobcats 45–39 in a hard-fought contest. Despite battling foul trouble throughout the game, the girls competed with great effort and toughness until the final buzzer.
Zoey Johnson led the Broncos with 10 points, providing a steady offensive presence. The Broncos did a strong job at the free-throw line, shooting over 70%, which helped keep the game within reach down the stretch.
Though the result didn’t go their way, the Broncos showed resilience and fight in the loss as they look to bounce back in their next outing against Waco University.
