The Lake Belton Broncos JV girls put together a complete team performance in a convincing 57–25 win over the University Trojans, showcasing balanced scoring, relentless defense, and unselfish play.
Harley King led the way with 10 points, controlling the tempo on both ends of the floor and setting the tone early. Zoey Johnson followed with 8 points, attacking the basket and creating opportunities in transition. Kalei Cress and Bailey Schorn each added 7 points, providing consistent scoring and energy throughout the game.
Ja’Niah Ford chipped in 6 points, knocking down timely shots and contributing with her defensive pressure, while Coby Dodd added 4 points and solid minutes off the bench.
The Broncos’ defense was the story of the night, forcing turnovers, contesting every shot, and limiting the Trojans to just 25 total points. Their ball pressure and communication led to multiple fast-break opportunities and kept the momentum firmly in Bronco hands.
With the win, the Broncos continue to build confidence and momentum as they move forward in the season and look forward to their matchup against cross town rival Belton Tuesday January 27th.
