The Lake Belton Girls Powerlifting team had an impressive showing this past Wednesday at the Florence Powerlifting Meet, taking 12 new lifters to compete in their first meet ever.

Several athletes stood out with top finishes in their respective weight classes. Baylie Anderson and Amiah Morrell both placed 2nd, while Zoey Goodwin and Laycee Bartlett earned 3rd-place finishes. Hailey Martinez followed closely with a 4th-place finish in her weight class, and Isabella Neels finished 5th while competing as an unequipped lifter.

Overall, all 12 lifters performed well in their first competitive meet, gaining valuable experience and setting a strong foundation for the rest of the season.

The Lake Belton Girls Powerlifting team will be back in action this Saturday in Waco at The Andrew Billings Invitational, looking to continue building momentum as the season progresses.
