The Lake Belton girls powerlifting team turned in a strong performance at the Paul Williams Invitational at Academy, which was held last night, earning medals and personal records in a highly competitive field.

Lake Belton had five girls medal at the meet, led by Hailey Martinez, Annaleah Logan, and Isabella Neels, who each finished 4th in their respective weight classes. Adding to the team’s success, Sarah Rogers and Claire Couture placed 5th in their weight classes, rounding out a solid night on the platform.

Beyond the medal finishes, several other Lake Belton lifters delivered standout performances by setting personal records in the squat, bench press, and deadlift, highlighting the continued growth and hard work of the entire girls program.

The girls powerlifting team will be back in action next Wednesday at the Temple Powerlifting Meet at the Mayborn Civic and Convention Center. This upcoming competition will mark the final team meet of the season for the Lake Belton girls, making it an important opportunity to close out the year on a high note.
