The lake Belton Boys Varsity Red golf team teed it up at Hancock Park in Lampasas on February 5th in the Badger Classic. The boys played well against stiff competition and, after posting a team score of 363, walked away with a third-place finish. The team was led by junior Levi Terrance-Crotty who shot a personal best 83, including a fantastic par on the difficult par 5 ninth hole. Following Levi, junior Kaiden Beaty who posted a very nice 87. Freshman Jackson Dolotina was third on the team after turning in a nice 96. Freshman Cole Russell, playing in his first-ever high school golf tournament shot a 97 to place fourth on the team, and junior Trysten Reese rounded out the team with a score of 101. The boys will play again at Dameron Invitational in Waco on March 6th and 7th.
