In a final tune-up before the regular season kicks off, the Lake Belton Junior Varsity Broncos squad met Salado Eagles JV in an offensive-heavy scrimmage yesterday that ended in a 11-11 tie.

The offensive growth shown by Lake Belton provides a massive confidence boost heading into the regular season. The Broncos proved they can handle momentum shifts and fight back when trailing.

With the scrimmage schedule now officially in the rearview mirror, Lake Belton turns its focus toward the regular-season opener. The Lake Belton Broncos will suit it again on Tuesday, as they travel to Georgetown for their season opener.
