The Varsity Broncos secured a dramatic 4-3 walk-off victory over the Salado Varsity Eagles on Friday night. The win marks a high-energy conclusion to the preseason, sending the Broncos into the regular season with a massive wave of momentum.
Pitching told the story in this one. Hits were at a premium for both the Broncos and Eagles, resulting in a tight, defensive game with very little room for error.
The Broncos leaned on their speed and tactical execution to pressure the Salado defense.
