The Lake Belton Broncos JV girls battled hard but came up short against Killeen Chaparral, falling 33–24. Despite balanced scoring and relentless effort throughout the game, the Broncos struggled to recover after digging themselves into an early hole.
Harley King led all scorers for the Broncos with 6 points, setting the tone with her energy and competitiveness on both ends of the floor. The team continued to fight and showed resilience, keeping pressure on Chaparral and competing until the final buzzer.
Although the early deficit proved too much to overcome, the Broncos displayed strong teamwork and determination — qualities they’ll look to build on moving forward as they prepare for their final district game this Tuesday vs Waco University.
