The Lake Belton Broncos JV girls capped off an impressive season with a hard-fought 44–29 victory over the University Trojans, showcasing disciplined defense and balanced scoring from start to finish.
Bailey Schorn led the Broncos offensively with 12 points, setting the tone and providing steady production throughout the game. Cheyann Oglesby added 7 points and contributed key plays on both ends of the floor to help maintain control of the tempo.
Defense once again proved to be the Broncos’ calling card, as they held the Trojans to single-digit scoring in three of the four quarters. Strong communication, relentless ball pressure, and a full team effort made it difficult for University to find any offensive rhythm.
With the win, the Broncos finish the season with an outstanding 24–2 overall record, including an impressive 8–2 mark in district play. The team’s consistency, toughness, and commitment to defense defined a memorable season and set a high standard moving forward
