The Lake Belton Junior Varsity Broncos faced a challenging road test on Tuesday, ultimately falling 10-0 to a disciplined Georgetown Junior Varsity Eagles squad.
The story of the night was the Eagles' dominance on the mound. The Broncos' bats were kept quiet as they struggled to find a rhythm, finishing the night with just one combined hit.
This young Broncos roster is currently focused on two primary pillars: developing new pitching depth and building team chemistry. Tuesday's matchup provided a high-pressure environment for these young athletes to test their progress.
The Broncos will hit the road again on Monday as the travel to Fredericksburg for there next preseason matchup.
