The JV Lady Broncos delivered a commanding performance this week, storming to the team championship with 129 points and placing in 12 of 17 events. The squad showcased impressive depth, combining strong relay execution, standout distance running, and powerful field event contributions.
Distance & Mid-Distance Strength
Freshman standout Elizabeth Sandlin led the charge, earning 2nd in the 3200m (13:49.28) before returning to dominate the 1600m with a winning time of 6:17.439.
Alayna Fulton added another gold for the Broncos, taking 1st in the 800m (2:44.84).
Hurdles & Sprints
Sophia Rotramel claimed the 100m hurdles title (18.38) and added a 3rd-place finish in the 300m hurdles (54.4).
In the 200m, Tiani Sanders placed 2nd (27.487), followed by Eliana Arevalo in 5th (28.061).
Relay Excellence
The JV relay teams were a force throughout the meet:
• 2nd – 4x100m: Arevalo, Jones, Williams, Hamilton — 52.76
• 2nd – 4x200m: Hamilton, Arevalo, Sanders, Williams
